The Department will be hosting a training for all Newly Installed Chapter Treasurers on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Training will begin at 10am, and go through 2pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please note that this training will be hybrid format, so if you are unable to join us in-person, you may connect with us through Zoom (see link below).
Topics covered will include, but are not limited to: Annual Financial Reports (AFR), 990N Filing, Officer Reports, Membership Order Supply Forms, Swag/Clothing orders, and more.
We will also provide training on Navigating mydav.org and retrieving reports, submitting essential forms online, Managing your Chapter Website and appointing a Webmaster, Order of Business, and monthly reports to include LVAP & SENA.
This is a great opportunity to learn the requirements of your position as DAV moves to an all electronic submission platform. It is also a great opportunity to connect with fellow Treasurers and discuss what is working well in their Chapters, and discuss fundraising ideas.
