DESCRIPTION:The DAV Department of MA is looking for volunteers to assist in clearing hiking trails at our Farm in Fitzwilliam\, NH. \nThe Farm serves as a retreat for a multitude of purposes\, from veteran respite\, hosting veteran groups for trainings\, equine therapy\, and more. This past fall we marked hiking trails throughout our 80+ acres\, as another means of entertainment when the facility is utilized. \nNow we are in need of volunteers to assist in formally clearing these trails. We will assemble beginning at 11:30 AM at the Lexington High School parking lot at 251 Waltham Street where shuttle buses will bring us to the parade assembly area. DESCRIPTION:Department Commander Robert Kinsman has called on the Department to join him at the Plymouth Thanksgiving Parade on Saturday November 18\, 2023. \n  \nMeeting place is at the Memorial Hall parking lot on 83 Court St\, Plymouth MA. Participants MUST arrive by 8am\, as the roads will be closed to traffic by 830am. \nThe parade route is 1.6 miles long with one large hill after Water St. It ends at the corner of Court St and Nelson St. Following the parade\, DAV participants have been invited back to Memorial Hall for refreshments\, courtesy of DAV William J.
