SUMMARY:Spring Cleanup - Veterans Advancement Program
DESCRIPTION:DAV Department of Massachusetts facilitates veterans housing facilities in Central\, MA. Our Veteran Advancement Program in Gardner not only serves as our Department HQ\, but in addition has twenty 2-bedroom condo style units that house single veterans and veterans with families. \nWe are organizing a spring-cleanup day to help keep the property keep it’s beauty and be a welcoming\, warm place for these veterans and families to thrive. If you would like to volunteer to assist with basic landscaping\, or any of our more labor intense projects such as clearing hiking trails\, playground installation\, firepit repair\, and more\, please contact Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Chris Akey at cakey@davma.org or Director Kayla Valila at kvalila@davma.org \nAll tools/equipment will be on-site\, and volunteers will be provided lunch/refreshments. \n
